We are so pleased to be a partner in the Fundy Salmon Recovery Project. Our work is centred around capturing wild juvenile salmon from our rivers and raising them until they are mature at the world’s first marine farm dedicated to wild Atlantic salmon conservation, located in Dark Harbour, Grand Manan. We return our mature wild salmon back to their native rivers to spawn naturally, producing juveniles that are free from exposure to captivity. Our goal is to improve the fitness of the salmon in our rivers and to build the numbers up to historic levels. Watch for updates on this exciting project at ffhr.ca and fundysalmonrecovery.com!
